Are you right for Audrey?Audrey is a three-year-old Poodle cross looking for an understanding home where she can gently discover the world at her own pace. Having had a very sheltered start to life, Audrey would thrive in a quieter residential or rural setting where things move a little more slowly and she can build confidence without feeling overwhelmed. A home with a secure garden is essential so she can enjoy time both indoors and outdoors while she gradually learns about lead walking and adventures beyond the home. Audrey would love to live with another friendly dog who can show her the ropes. Patient adopters who are happy to introduce new experiences slowly will help her flourish, and she could live with sensible secondary school-aged children who can learn to read her body language. Initially she would benefit from a household with only occasional visitors while she gains confidence, and her adopters should be prepared to continue her training, including house training and helping her feel comfortable with things like car travel.

Are you right for Ava?Ava is on the search for her forever home with patient adopters! She would like her adopters to understand her worries and allow her to take things at her own pace. Ava has had an unsettled start to life and has been making great progress in our care. She will need extra patience, calm and gentle reassurance and confidence-building. It will take time for her to feel comfortable in her new environment and for her full personality to shine. Everything about the world is new to her, so she will need dedicated adopters to teach her everything from scratch and build on her confidence. Ava is looking for a quieter home life that is away from any main/busy roads with lots of noise. Ava's dream home would have another well-matched dog who can help her build her confidence and help her to settle into her new home. She would really benefit from having a private and secure garden with direct access from the house, as she is still being introduced to leads and harnesses. Due to her worries, she would like minimal visitors to begin with and could live with children 12+ who are dog-savvy, calm and can give her time to adjust to life in a home. Ava would like her adopters to be around for most of the time to begin with, to help her settle. She would love committed and patient owners who are happy to welcome a dog like Ava into their home!

Are you right for Beckett?Meet our wonderful senior gentleman Beckett - a 16-year-old miniature poodle who proves that age is just a number! Despite his years, he still has a surprising zest for life and loves to stay active, whether that’s pottering around the house, enjoying short walks, or getting excited over his favourite treats. He is a *true foodie* at heart — mealtimes are the highlight of his day, and he’ll happily be your loyal kitchen companion. Like many older dogs, he’s looking for a calm, understanding home where he can feel safe and supported. He can sometimes feel worried during grooming or vet visits, so he’ll need patient adopters who are willing to take things at his pace and help him feel comfortable.

Jerry Green Dog Rescue
Hello… it’s us We’re Olive and Betty, mum and daughter, best friends, occasional bickerers, and a ready-made little family hoping to find a home where we can stay together forever.I’m Olive, the mum black and tan, full of life, and always curious about what you’re up to. I like to be involved in everything. If you move, I move. If you’re busy, I’m supervising. If you sit down… well, I’ll probably beat you to the sofa. I’ve got lots of energy when it’s time for adventures, but I’m just as happy curling up and snoozing once the day winds down. I do have a bit of a spring in my step though, so I’ll need a secure garden with tall, solid fencing to keep me safe while I explore. And I’m Betty, Olive’s daughter, the one in white. I’m a little more laid-back and tend to take life at a gentler pace. I do love getting out and about, but I’m just as happy relaxing and watching the world go by. I can be a bit shy at first, so I often look to Mum for reassurance, she helps me feel brave. Once I trust you, though, I’ll be your quiet little shadow. We won’t pretend we’re perfect, we’re family after all. Sometimes we have little disagreements, usually over things we both think are very important at the time. With the right guidance and a bit of management, we’re absolutely fine, and the people here will happily help you understand what works best for us.We can be left for up to four hours, especially if you leave a light on when it’s dark, it helps us feel settled and secure. We could live with children aged 11 and over, as long as we all get along when we meet. We’d really prefer to be the only pets in the home so we can enjoy all your love and attention. That said, we may be able to make some doggy walking friends out and about. We’ll just need an understanding owner, as we can sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed when we’re on the lead. With patience and guidance, we can continue to build our confidence.More than anything, we’re just hoping for a home where we feel safe, understood, and loved, a place where our personalities can shine and our bond can continue to grow.If you’ve got space in your heart (and on your sofa) for two, we promise to fill your days with love, companionship, and the kind of bond only a mother and daughter can share.Key info: Small breed, Children 11+, Housetrained, Secure garden, Only pet in the home, Can be left alone for 4 hrs

Are you right for Brando?Brando is a young Poodle mix with a gentle heart and very little experience of the big wide world. Having had a sheltered start, he’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can gradually be exposed to new experiences. Brando needs to live in a small residential area or rural setting where life moves at a quieter pace, with a secure garden of his own so he can potter, explore and enjoy the outdoors safely while his confidence grows. He will need a family who are primarily at home, as being left alone causes him worry and will need to be built up very gradually. He could happily share his home with another friendly dog and would benefit from a companion. With steady introductions to lead walks, limited car travel at first, and guidance with house training and basic skills, Brando has all the potential to blossom in the right hands.

Are you right for Bubble?Meet this adorable pair... Maris and Bubble. Maris is a 4yr old Spaniel Cross and Bubble is a 4 month old miniature poodle on the look out for a special home together. They both had a sheltered life and are looking for a patient and understanding home. Maris and Bubble like to spend the majority of their time together as they gain lots of confidence from each other. They are worried by fast movements and takes time to build a bond with people so an adult only home would be best. They both are initially shy around new people and is not yet comfortable with touch, so they require a family that can patiently build their trust with gentle and kind handling. Maris and Bubble came from a home with lots of other dogs but has struggled meeting new dogs at the centre so is looking for a home where they can be the only pets to give them the best chance at settling into home life without any distractions. Both of them are not ready to explore the wider world yet and may take some time before they are so it is essential they have a private, secure garden to provide them with a safe outdoor space to explore and toilet in.

05-03-26 Candy has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is feeling a little worried at the moment, but she is such a sweet little girl who is trying very hard to be brave. She isn’t quite confident enough to approach us on her own just yet, but when we approach her she is happy to be handled and accepts a gentle fuss. It’s clear that Candy has a kind and gentle nature, and with plenty of love and patience she will soon begin to blossom. She would love a calm and quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace and build her confidence slowly. We would consider homing her with sensible, dog-savvy teenagers who can understand that she will need time and kindness as she adjusts.Candy relies heavily on other dogs for comfort and reassurance, so she will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home to guide her and help her feel safe. Having a steady canine friend by her side will make all the difference as she learns about the world around her.She has never lived in a home before, so she will need help learning all about home life. This will include house training, learning to walk on a lead and getting used to everyday household routines and noises. With TLC and a supportive family, we truly believe Candy will grow into a loving and devoted companion. She has a slightly undershot jaw and has arrived with superficial wounds on both ear flaps, which are being treated.Candy has a travel document.Candy has been given the Gift of Life by Jackie Harvey & Katerina Loopstra
