Hi, I’m Ace! I’m about 2 years old and I've not been lucky enough to live in a home yet. I came here in February and I'm loving my indoor heated kennel with nice blankets! I absolutely love other dogs and I like people but I'm just a bit shy. I’d be more than happy to live with another dog or without, I'm not fussy but I did used to chase rabbits for a living so I might do the same with a cat in the house.I’m learning to walk on a lead and come back when I'm called. I'm loving my new raw food as I was a bit hungry. I’m looking for a home that is easy going as I like a calm life but I do also like to play with other dogs. If you’re after a gentle soul that would probably end up sleeping on the sofa in the sunshine then I'm your man! Love,Ace

Albie

Hampshire
SexMale
Age9 months
BreedUnknown

Meet Albie, one precious boy rescued from Botosani public shelter. Albie is just a puppy, 9 months old, he has been neutered, fully vaccinated, blood tested and microchipped Albie is like a little polar bear, a bundle of fluffiness. Albie is not used to human interaction and touch so needs a very understanding and patient home that will give him the time he needs to learn to become a happy, trusting companion. He is not aggressive but does show fear if people push him too quickly because he's missed out on a normal puppyhood. Albie is doing so well, he loves his toys and is super playful, often amusing himself by throwing his toys around and retrieving them. To see him showing his happy and playful side is so rewarding. He will not be going out on walks for a long while yet so a garden for him to run around in is essential. He is house trained and takes himself to the door when he needs to go out. He is great with all other dogs and definitely needs the help of a confident resident dog. Albie requires a young child free home Must have an enclosed garden Experience of nervous dogs Dog and cat friendly Albie didn't have a future stuck in the overcrowded public shelter, he was living in fear every single day. Now he is beginning to learn that life can be fun. Its so wonderful to see. Are you the person to give him an amazing future? Current location Southampton.

Are you right for Alfie?Eight-year-old Alfie is a handsome Collie with a gentle, quiet character and a lot of love to give. He’s hopeful to find patient adopters, who will allow him plenty of time to settle into his new routine and allow him to show his fun, confident side. Alfie is a real ‘foodie’ and highly values his mealtimes and chews. He can find it challenging when people approach him whilst he is eating, or if they try and take food items away from him. Alfie has completed multiple training plans during his time in kennels around feeding times and loves to show off his skills- he requires a family who are happy to implement this training in his new home. Our Training Team can chat to successful applicants more about this. Alfie loves walking with doggy friends but is looking to be the only dog in his new home, and is looking for an adult only home. He also requires a garden of his own. Alfie is a clever boy, and knows multiple toys by name!

Angel, a 4 years old female Bulldog available for adoption from Last Chance Animal Rescue in Kent

Last Chance Animal Rescue

Angel

Kent
SexFemale
Age4 years
BreedBulldog

Romney Poor Angel came to us through no fault of her own. She is a typical Bulldog who doesn't know her own strength sometimes and will barrel into you wanting love and cuddles, due to this she would not be suitable for young children, she can however live with older children. She is good with other dogs and great with people. At the moment she is a bit nervous and scared of being in the kennel so she is a bit shut down at the moment. If you'd like to give Angel a home then please pop into our New Romney branch during our opening hours (Weds-Sun, 11am-3pm).

I'm a 11-year-old Shih Tzu from Burford rehoming centre and I'm looking for my forever home. Please read my profile below to find out more. Thanks for clicking on my profile. I have now been matched with a loving family and I’m looking forward to settling in at my new home. However, many of my friends still need adopting. This is our darling Granny Annie. She is a sweet older girl who is looking for a retirement home where she can be the centre of attention, have lots of fuss as she deserves to, and can join her owner for an afternoon snooze on the sofa when the mood takes her.Granny Annie would be best suited to living with adults or teenagers who can understand when this lovely little lady will need time to do important dog business like lounging in the sun, pondering interesting topics, and inspecting comfortable perches to watch the world go by.In her new home, Granny Annie would like to be the only pet as she doesn’t want much from other dogs and finds cats too much, but don’t worry, this funny and loving sweetheart has enough personality to go around. She loves to go for walks and is quite speedy when she gets going, and would enjoy a trip to any dog friendly café or pub.Granny Annie has shown herself to be housetrained here at the centre and loves to settle on her orthopaedic dog bed whilst the office team get to work – she really isn’t any hassle at all.If this lovely little lady is the canine companion you’ve been looking for, please get in touch today!Flat faced (brachycephalic) dogs suffer from additional health problems, which may impact their quality of life. We always recommend anyone thinking about adopting or buying a flat faced (brachycephalic) dog to thoroughly research the breed beforehand.
